As
we said earlier, an important part of your job will be designing solutions to
meet customer needs and business goals, developing technical solutions and
pre-sale products in support of customer goals. Therefore, you will spend part
of your day doing what we blatantly call "problem solving." As a SA,
you will formulate solution plans and provide guidance on AWS architecture best
practices. You will estimate costs and identify cost control mechanisms, as
well as select the appropriate AWS service based on security, data, compute, or
database requirements.
You
will likely spend part of your days designing and deploying scalable, highly
achievable, and fault-tolerant systems on AWS. You will identify the elevation
and change of an existing local application to AWS. Along with this, you will
have to decrypt the data input and output to and from AWS. You may also be
asked to provide guidance on issues such as performance, cost, disaster
recovery, or security issues.
