you need to have the technical skills to install and unlock Comcast products.
You need to know how to set up Comcast home, internet and cable security
systems and set them up for the customer. Once everything is set up, you will
sometimes need to instruct the customer on how it works and how to use the equipment.
When a customer has problems, you can provide the solutions by resetting the
internet or cable as soon as possible. Must have knowledge of wiring or wiring

As
a site communication technician, you will be interacting with customers on a
daily basis and must have excellent written and oral communication skills. At
home or in a consumer company, you're not just a technician; you are also a
messenger service representative. At times, you may come across angry customers
whose services are not working and you have to not only solve the problem but
also deal with angry customers in the process. You will usually have a deadline
for completing work in a set time and must have good time management skills and
a strong approach.

physical condition
Most
of the time you work outdoors, installing lines and connecting cable and
internet from the outside. You have to be willing to work in extreme cold or
extreme heat, and depending on your area and time of year, you may have to deal
with both. Communication technicians should be in good physical condition and
able to lift heavy equipment, equip in small spaces, climb ladders and electric
poles, and work on their feet every day. You may be working long hours,
including weekends and evenings, and you may be on call, so you should be
flexible with your time.
